We have had a very wet summer. On August 16 we had 9-3/4 inches of rain. For a few photos of the great drive home click rain. We had our Second Anniversary of Clown Alley Orchids in Pasadena.

We are constantly upgrading are stock and adding photos in the sales area and on this website. A review of our stock shows we now feature 31 Cattleya species or species varieties! We also have 34 Dendrobium species.

We attend many orchid functions each year. These may be American Orchid Society (AOS) committee meetings, International Phalaenopsis Alliance (IPA) meetings and symposiums, Southwest Regional Orchid Growers Association Events (SWROGA), Mid-America Orchid Congress Events, local society meetings, local orchid shows, or other shows or festivals. We are usually at the Houston Orchid Society and the Houston Judging Center meetings. We usually exhibit, judge and sell our favorite plants - ORCHIDS. Recently we participated in the following

• Hosted the new Clown Alley Orchid Club many times, see .
• Visited many places see listing in Past Events
• We were gone much of March to attend The Japan Grand Prix in Tokyo, The 2007 Taiwan International Orchid Show and Symposium in Tainan and the 9th Asia Pacific Orchid Conference in Seoul, Korea !!!! We posted some photos at Tokyo, Korea and Taiwan Photos link.
• We attended and judged at the 19th World Orchid Conference in Miami, FL January 22-24. We also bought some SPECIAL orchids in Miami from Taiwan and Malaysia. See our especially our new Catasetums and Relatives listings
• We presided over the International Phalaenopsis Alliance meetings and luncheon in Miami January 24.
• We lectured at the International Phalaenopsis Alliance 14th Symposium in Irving, Texas. We also bought some more special Phalaenopsis from Taiwan and California.

We are open six days a week 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

WE had a great show in Galveston, besides the two AOS awards we won four trophies and all ribbons on a total of 12 plants in our Clown Alley display and 4 in the Houston Orchid Society Display. We were in charge of building the Houston Orchid Society display for the theme Oceans of Orchids. We also exhibited at the S.W.R.O.G.A. show in Rogers, Arkansas and won the Best Grown Cattleya trophy for Catcylia Pixie Princess. Again we were in charge of building the Houston Orchid Society display and actually brought all the plants and accessories. We just received another AOS award at the New Orleans Orchid Society show.

• We lectured on Phalaenopsis at the Houston Orchid Society July 3.
• We lectured at the 14th International Phalaenopsis Alliance Symposium in Arlington. TX July 11-13.
• We will chair the Houston Orchid Society Workshop August 8 and 9.
• We will judge, exhibit and sell at the SWROGA Show in Wichita Falls, TX November 7-9.
• We will host the Houston Orchid Society Newcomers November 16.
